What tangible results have we seen for this money? Because I've noticed when trying to defend the test and trace system these days even Hancock barely tries to make out that it's any good, he just blathers on about how quickly it was set up and how big it is.
It isn't even all that big, some figures I saw earlier said tests carried out had only gone up 12% since August while positive cases had tripled.

I may not have got the details quite right but that's the gist of it.

When they ask for payment they obviously adopt the right tone.

Total votes already cast in 2020 as a % of the total number of 2016 votes by state (a rough proxy of what % of voters have already voted)

FL: 20%
WI: 25.4%
MI: 24.5%
MN: 21.4%
GA: 17.8%
IA: 20.6%

A huge chunk of people have already voted in key states. Via
@ElectProject
.

Two problems for Trump with these numbers:

1) With Biden winning in the polls now, these voters are a buffer for Biden. If the race changes, these are already in the bank.

2) If these numbers are so big because turnout is going to be up significantly vs. 2016, Trump is screwed.
Let's hope so.

No, I haven't. Probably not since about the end of September now that you come to mention it.

I read that the last time anyone was so far behind in the polls to his opponent before winning the Presidential election was George H. W. Bush to Michael Dukakis and that poll was in June giving Bush months to catch up.

The New York Times had quotes over the weekend from pro-Trump Republican strategists saying he was screwed but let's face it, we've been shat on so many times lately that I don't think any of us are going to be even remotely optimistic until the fucker is actually gone.

September 25th was the last date that I can track down an appearance here on The Daily Politics. I haven't checked anywhere else.

Thanks PF. So nearly three weeks.

Hmmm...I can't remember Froggy saying he was going on a cruise or anything.

You may well hate this, but I think it's great. Heaped with opprobrium at the time, they were often known as Ocean Duller Scene.
