Our police would be too busy covering their own arses.
You've piqued my interest about other nations' crime and their law enforcements' responses to it.

I made it often in the US. Living in a semi-rural location, I knew the farms where the meat came from. I didn't skim the fat off for this dish because we needed the calories and it gave the stew a rich flavour.

In other news, it appears today isn't the absolutely final deadline for a deal with the EU after all. Who knew?

I saw a brief clip of Ed Milliband on television this morning, about a the two-minute clip.

In last year's December general election campaigning, Johnson lied to Nissan workers and everyone else when he said he'd an 'oven-ready' deal with the EU.

How someone sounds when they talk greatly influences their listeners' evaluation of them. I think sometimes people vote against their interests because of how someone's voice makes them feel. People might not be aware they're doing so.

I rarely listen to the noise Johnson makes, preferring transcripts of whatever it is he's said instead. I think some people are conned into trusting Johnson because of the way Johnson's voice sounds when he's speaking.

Johnson gives a sonorous performance in the link above.
