My daughter got one of these today. If not for the fact she's under-18 and has therefore never given anyone in the NHS her e-mail address it might have been quite convincing (although the hotmail address was a bit of a giveaway for a savvy teenager). Utter scumbags.

Good afternoon.

Amusing bit of "Let's see who we can find?" from the Mail today for their push to get laptops for school children.

Another fantastic £500k! Firm's boost means Mail Force push to get laptops for pupils hits £5.6m... as one teenager reveals how a donated computer gave her a future
When I looked at the name of this random teenager it rang a bell...she has written for the Spectator and the Telegraph on precisely the same subject last year..

Oh, and she was a member of the Youth Parliament for 3 years. Wonder which party?

Well... her Linkedin account says that since March 2020 she has been an intern working for her local MP - one Lucy Allan...

Shocked etc. Entirely random selection there...

Labour calls for action over 'extraordinary' cladding scandal

https://www.theguardian.com/society/202 ... ng-scandal" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Ahead of an opposition day motion in which Labour will call for measures including an independent taskforce on cladding, the party’s leader, Keir Starmer, was to meet leaseholders in east London facing potentially huge bills.

The party says up to 11 million people may live in properties with unsafe cladding, an issue that came to prominence with the tragedy at Grenfell Tower in west London in June 2017.

Many people who own affected flats have been presented with significant bills for remedial works or fire patrols, with some being made bankrupt, and a number have been unable to sell their properties.
Meanwhile Jenrick is planning to legislate to get trees planted on new roads being laid out!

Very commendable - I'm sure that'll be a huge relief to leaseholders in the situation above...

Looks like the civil war that has been simmering beneath the surface of the SNP for some time, has finally burst out into the open.

Its basically Nicola's people against Alex's, and that is barely being disguised now.
