And an exclusive look at future content of GB News.

The Future of British Broadcasting Insider Spills GB News Beans

In addition to interviews and analysis, Pooli told Byline Times that his former boss plans to front a 12-part documentary about the Union Jack, provisionally titled ‘Neil Before the Flag’.

“GB News’ raison d’être is to take on the elite,” Pooli says, “and to hold the most powerful people in Britain to account. Flags will be critical to that effort. We all know that the real people running this country are the students, Remoaners and ‘woke warriors’ and ‘Neil Before the Flag’ will be a radical assault on the narrative that they control. There’s also going to be a weekly show called ‘WokeWatch’ where people expressing opinions that differ from Andrew Neil’s will be named and publicly shamed.”

To my horror I named as one of the 'academics & individuals' who was consulted by the Commission on Race & Ethnic Disparities. I wonder how many others were consulted without their knowledge?

No 10 race adviser quits amid UK report downplaying structural racism

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... -published" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Boris Johnson’s adviser on race has resigned, it has emerged, the day after the government released a controversial report downplaying structural racism in the UK.

Samuel Kasumu, No 10’s special adviser for civil society and communities, resigned last week and informed colleagues of his decision on Wednesday, sources have confirmed. His resignation, first disclosed by London Playbook, will not come as a complete surprise after he first attempted to resign in February.

In a leaked letter to the prime minister, Kasumu raised concerns about the conduct of Kemi Badenoch, the equalities minister, suggesting she may have broken the ministerial code when she publicly criticised a black journalist on social media, and said tensions over race policies within No 10 had become “unbearable”.

Response of the Tory minister doing the media rounds this morning - "I've never heard of them".

This is maybe not the smart response you thought it was......

Just seen this from the report...
Both the educational benefit to children and the opportunity to nurture their social skills have
never been more important than during this period in Britain’s history. Here, many academies
and free schools, which tend to outperform council-run schools, have used their autonomy to
lengthen the school day.
:wall:

No-one will convince me that this Gove/Gibb narrative wasn't deliberate. And the "Oh Free Schools and Academies are so wonderful!" bullshit.

That was actually one of the better ones today, Olaf Priol's output maybe isn't quite what it used to be.

Although Sir Keir Starmer has said there is “no case” for rejoining the EU (see 9.48am), Ipsos MORI polling out today suggests more than a third of people (35%) would like Britain to rejoin the EU within the next 10 years. They are only narrowly outnumbered by the 37% who say they do not want that. Another 20% neither agree nor disagree. (Politics Live, Guardian)
