Seems like it was a bit of a car crash for Liz Truss on Marr this morning. Did anyone see it? I just caught the end and she looked pretty tight-lipped and pissed off. As any woman would when they're expected to yet again clean up the mess left by a lazy and entitled man.

It was more the theory of where the attacks on Boris are coming from that I was agreeing with, though I wouldn't underestimate the additional damage that can be done by someone of equal malevolence but far greater commitment to the work ethic, even in just a few years.

I suspect most people have no idea of the lasting and negative impacts Gove has had on the education of children in this country. His educational reforms have directly contributed to rising rates of poor mental health in young people and to the increasing exclusion and failure of children with special educational needs. Not to mention the wholesale redistribution of assets from the public to the private sector.

I have never been blessed with the ability to believe anything anyone tells me. Have to work everything out from first principles. And then (vis a vis lethal pandemic) add precautionary principle. I have "discussions" with the brain about it, but the brain generally gets its own way.
