Real point is, you can totally imagine Johnson saying it can't you?

Anyway, our PM is apparently "totally focused on the pandemic" so there is nothing to worry about.

Is it actually possible to ruin someone's image if their image is essentially a lying, corrupt, womanizing shit?

Although I am, of course, quite happy to sit back and watch them* try.

*I assume we're looking at a concerted effort by Cummings, Gove and Murdoch, but why? Is it perhaps because Boris doesn't just lie and backtrack to the nation, but also to the rich and powerful who helped put him in power. Has he maybe failed to make good on some promises, on account of being a useless, lazy arse?

Almost certain.

The media seem to be more focused on whether he said 'let the bodies pile up', than they've ever been on the bodies piling up.

Well yes, if it was established he knew of the ESL plans in advance and didn't object - then it would put his public "opposition" in a rather different perspective no?

Whereas whatever your view of (lifelong Arsenal fan) Starmer, there's not much doubt he was saying what he really thought regarding that one.

Good morfternoon.

One of the most criminal things that has happened so far is the rundown of PPE stocks. That never gets mentioned any more. The Government shouldn't be allowed to get away with that and constant reference back to it (and the deaths and illness it resulted in for what are known as (when it suits) the NHS and Care Sector "heroes") should be made.
