Good afternoon.
Anyone need something to read?

62 instances of 'woke' probably tells you all you need to know.

If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.

I mean, what galaxy brains could possibly have thought making an enemy of Rayner was a good idea anyway?

Re: Tuesday 11th May 2021
Next time Labour are in government I propose that they make it law that in order to vote, anyone involved with the Conservative Party or any organisations associated with it, must arrive at the polling station dressed as clowns and do a little dance, possibly involving twerking.
Failure to meet the mandated costume or dance requirements will result in them being turned away until they get it right.
For too long the problem of Tory voters not being forced to dress up and dance for our amusement has been swept under the carpet and it's high time something was done about it.

Perhaps Starmer has surrounded himself with weather forecasters, because they also seem to be making a right mess of things at the moment.
"A 6% chance of precipitation in the next couple of hours, ok I'll go for a walk and have a look round the charity shops now they're back open...What the? Where the hell did this bloody thunderstorm come from? I'm absolutely drenched! Damn you Met Office!!!"
On the plus side I did get a book on the French Revolution and some John Lewis placemats that were still in the wrapper. Evidently there's a Carrie Symonds wannabe in the area.

As a United supporter I say, "Meh, let's see you do it without the blood money from your torture prison running, migrant worker killing, sex trafficking sugar daddies, you sportswashing frauds."

I had a friend who's Dad was a man city supporter.
He was also an anti-environmentalist and casual racist.
And lived in Cheshire.

So was Frank Sidebottom though so that kinda evens things out.
Another City supporting comedian worth mentioning is the Tory MP Karen Bradley. My favourite joke of hers was when she was made Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and said, "I didn't understand things like when elections are fought, for example, in Northern Ireland – people who are nationalists don’t vote for unionist parties and vice versa."

Got a fantastic lightning show over Leeds at the moment, forks shooting off in all directions, I've never seen horizontal lightning before going so slowly it's not just a flash, I could actually watch it travel from one side of the sky to the other.
This needs investigating.

Aha.

https://www.rmets.org/metmatters/types-lightning
Anvil Crawlers are tree-like, horizontally-moving IC lightning discharges which tend to appear along the underside of thunderstorm anvils. They can be seen by the human eye due to their slower speed (relative to other lightning!). This type of lightning (sometimes referred to as ‘rocket lightning’) often cover very large distances, resulting in spectacular sky-filling displays. Anvil crawlers are often very high-altitude events, and typically result in soft, rolling thunder due to their great distance from the observer. Anvil crawlers can either occur independently completely within the cloud, or in connection with a cloud-to-ground discharge.
