Following on from street lighting being the solution to VAWG

Johnson says the Covid crisis was a “lightening flash illumination” of a problem left unaddressed for decades - social care.

He says delayed discharge has exacerbated the problem.

He says it is unfair that treatment for cancer is funded by the state, but treatment of Alzheimers is not.

And he says the government will use new technology to help; it will ensure electronic patient records can be easily shared between health and social care.

Very happy to see this. I tried (in vain) to get a certain environmental organisation interested in this kind of approach 20 years ago.
