Good morfternoon.

Blimey, that year simply flashed by. It seems like only a week has passed, but it's Novemer again already.

Its an article from a notoriously unreliable source, and almost totally free of any actual substance.

So of course the SqwawkBox brigade are going to treat it as gospel :)

Had my landlord round today. He claimed Yorkshire cricket club was being victimised, Azeem Rafiq was faking offence for money, and that 'Paki' was in no way a racist term. He then contradicted himself by inadvertantly admitting his own son had been arrested and charged with racist abuse after using said term (first I'd heard about that). Before going on a rant about how Nick Griffin was a good man who'd been unfairly maligned.

I do like our little chats.

The sight of the one (and sometimes two) Yorkshire terrier/s in the window of someone else's house when I go for a quick stroll never fails to cheer me up. It/they bring/s to mind one Christmas lunch spent in a pub in Padstow with two Yorkshire terriers (Rosie and McKenzie) and their owners. That was the year we were tempted to deep fried christmas pudding from the Chip Ahoy.
Marvellous.

Measles
https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-shee ... il/measles
Even though a safe and cost-effective vaccine is available, in 2018, there were more than 140 000 measles deaths globally, mostly among children under the age of five...
...During 2000- 2018, measles vaccination prevented an estimated 23.2 million deaths making measles vaccine one of the best buys in public health.
https://www.idsociety.org/public-health ... and-facts/
Fact: There is no evidence that MMR causes autism, but a great deal of evidence that shows it does not cause autism. Many studies have found there is no connection between the two, including recent research that tracked more than 650,000 Danish children and found the MMR vaccine “does not increase the risk for autism, does not trigger autism in susceptible children, and is not associated with clustering of autism cases after vaccination.”

Fact: There have been no deaths shown to be related to the vaccine in healthy people. There have been rare cases of deaths from vaccine side effects among children who are immune compromised, which is why it is recommended that they don’t get the vaccine. That’s why it is so important that everyone who can get vaccinated does so, to protect those who can’t.
Idle curiosity.

I was looking up the same vaccine stuff earlier today (idle curiosity). I wonder if we were synchronised.

Good god no, he's an out and proud Faragist.

I did ask him today what he thought of Laurence Fox but he seemed only dimly aware of poor lozza.

I know someone with a Yorkshire terrier called Meg. He's trained her so that when he does a special dance she scoots about on her backside like she's got worms. It is, without doubt, the funniest thing I will ever see in my life.

The last thing I saw Dean Stockwell in was a little known adaptation of Lovecraft's 'Dunwich Horror'. I was so excited. It even had Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator, From Beyond). What could go wrong?

Absolutely everything as it turned out.

I really need to watch Blue Velvet and Paris, Texas again.

Here's Jeffrey Combs in Re-Animator.

Image

Which the sharp eyed amongst you may notice bears a striking resemblance to the image used in the video Refitman has posted above.

The similarities end there however, Jeffrey Combs plays a mad scientist in a daft horror film, Andrew Wakefield plays a shameless grifting piece of shit in real life.

Oops.

It beggars belief that Cox apparently thought nothing wrong in representing a foreign government against a UK government he was actually a part of.

If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.

And now they're going after 'Iain' Duncan Smith for being on a 'task force' which recommended that a type of hand sanitiser, produced by a company he just happened to be a paid advisor for, should be formally recognised as suitable for use in the UK.

That's them, using genetically modified troll semen to wash the hands of our doctors and nurses. It's disgusting.

I mean have you seen what goes on in their facilities?

Moomins strapped down and violated for their reproductory essence.

It needs to be stopped.
