Meanwhile....
This feels rather reminiscent of Nixon's assertion that he was "not a crook". I think it's very helpful of Johnson to clarify what he's being accused of with this randomly produced denial, just in case there's still anyone out there who wasn't aware what the current Westminster row is all about.
This is interesting. Does the ministerial code have any legal standing at all or is it just window dressing? No 10 faces legal challenge to PM’s support for Priti Patel on bullying claims
Meanwhile....
.Johnson took the unusual step earlier this week of insisting the UK is “not remotely a corrupt country”, amid a slew of sleaze claims after his botched bid to protect disgraced former MP Owen Paterson from a 30-day suspension for paid lobbying

Morning Willow,
I'm also enjoying Bozo's protestations of innocence !
I remember way back when he was mayor how he was exposed carefully rehearsing his ‘impromptu’ act, part of it being that carefully tousled hair .
It’s perfectly possible that he took his mask off in the hospital as a wink of solidarity towards his anti-mask ‘base’ . Dr Bhatt’s stroppy patient supports that hypothesis.

I've seen that theory elsewhere and found it quite plausible. IMO much, much worse than just being a self-entitled t***.
On our local news there was a video clip of him talking to the nurses in the corridor which ran on a few seconds so you could see a manager handing him a mask & telling him to put it on. The hospital did try.

I note that Sky was elsewhere so didn't give us his semi-regular QT review last night.

This is a good summary of all the things the BBC got incredibly wrong with their trans women and lesbians article. If you have the time, I would also recommend raising a complaint (explained in the video):

Haven't you heard, accuracy isn't the main concern of BBC "News" any more.

From the Independent. Most Brits now want to reverse Brexit ...
"However, both Labour and the Liberal Democrats are shying away from any attempt to rejoin the EU question, Keir Starmer making clear his determination to “make Brexit work”."
Do our opposition parties think that by being more or less no different from the Tories people will vote them in by mistake?
