Good morning.

'Evasion of duty' is one of the nicer things that could be said about Johnson.

Suppose that I might actually have to watch PMQs again today.

Boris Johnson at his rambling, blustering worst.

His distraction attempts included references to the cost of living crisis and Russia, neither of which reflect well on current government, given the lack of action on fuel prices and unhelpful national insurance hike plus the US concerns about Russian money compromising current UK government. Really rather desperate.

Its actually a problem at the moment that you can't straight out call someone a liar in the HoC.

Could be a nice cheap billboard for Labour, picture of Starmer and Johnson, would you rather be led by a lawyer, or a liar?

Perhaps Jonhson has a party hat on, maybe also in clown makeup.

Starmer seemed keen to extract a promise from Johnson that he would make the full Sue Gray report available to MPs, which he appeared to get. I assume there's a strategy behind this.

There were a lot of references to Starmer being a lawyer from Johnson today, so I assume the Tory calculation is that the general public actually prefer the latter.

Yes, that and that the PM and his government would abide by the ministerial code.

BoJo shouted a lot partly to obscure that he had to concede on these things.
