I'm not normally one to threaten to flounce but if Wes Streeting becomes leader of the Labour Party that's it, I'm off.

You are not alone - don't know if I would actually leave, but he could forget about my active support.

I'm being serious here - if a leadership contest looks likely soon left wingers who have resigned need to rejoin the party to help stop that from happening.

Good afternoon.

The MoS have what they think is a smoking gun but, and I might be wrong about this as I haven't been to many parties in recent years, I don't think that parties usually have an itinerary...
If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.

It has already been picked apart by some, this doesn't look like the thing that will bring Starmer down.

Travelling through Bradford...continued.

Everything was fine. Buses and trains on time, no fighting with feral children, all good.

When I used to volunteer for the Lib-Dems we would have an itinerary for the day. It was mostly go here and post leaflets then go there and do the same but at the end of every day we would be provided with food and a beer or wine or a soft drink as a thank you for our efforts. Clearly Labour do the same.

Perhaps one of the problems here is the Tories are different? Maybe they tell their volunteers to fuck off at the end of the day and have them thrown off the premises after they've outlived their usefullness so they have no understanding of collegial bonhomie.

Or maybe they're just disingenuous cunts.

Well given that its hardly as if nothing is happening at the moment, this place has been positively comatose this weekend.

Thank heavens that you posted Sky.

As far as Labour's local elections results go I think they did rather well, Corbyn had previously done well the last time those council seats were up for election and Starmer added to them. Here in Leeds Labour took two from the Tories and one from the Lib-Dems, steady progress, especially given those clowns ran the council in coalition not so long ago.

What's been most disappointing is seeing the far left's response.

I was listening to something earlier about the Iranian revolution. It was the far left in Iran who facilitated Khomeini thinking they could control him, which obviously didn't end well.

At least then they were reacting to a British and American coup replacing a democratically elected leader with a dictator.

What are the Left in this country reacting to? Being pissed off magic grandpa failed spectacularly.

Boo fucking hoo.

If you do anything to help the Tories you are my enemy.

@Sky'sGoneOut

I couldn't abide Jeremy Corbyn, but I still gritted my teeth and voted for him when the need arose.
