Never forget that Mordaunt apart from dressing up as a senior Naval officer (which she ain’t), also lied repeatedly about the UK not having a veto on EU expansion .
46 seconds only !
A SERIOUS news org COULD have a hotline to its factchecker team, for real-time rebuttals,, non ?
But I've never heard of that being done, anywhere .

Also did a u-turn on her previous support for trans rights, of course.
Despite all that, she may still be their least worst option!

BoJo saying he definitely has 100 nominations, honest - perhaps some of those are from Russia as well?

Talks have reportedly taken place between Sunak and Johnson, though they don't seem to have been conclusive just yet.

Seems very likely to me. I'm kind of assuming that Graham Brady literally totted up the potential numbers and set a threshold that would automatically anoint Sunak and lock out all the disastrous choices, including Johnson. It's what I would do, tbf. Leaving it to a membership that picked Truss, again, would be an act of insanity.

Meanwhile in the real world away from client journalist fantasies, Grant Shapps - previously very much a Johnson man - has just backed Sunak.
There has to be a decent chance the would be Cinncinatus doesn't even make 100 MPs.

Mervyn King earlier saying if we want better public services the 'average' person has to pay more tax.
Wish they'd follow up and ask mean or median.

Penny Dreadful apparently told BoJo to do one when he suggested doing a deal to her.
Always had a soft spot for her despite her faults.

Alternative History !
What would have happened if the Oaf had really been very sick, instead of lying about it (and then being caught) ?
As for Rochelle (just wash your hands) Walensky, the same wish applies .
