Good afternoon.

The Telegraph did a two-day hit job on the BBC last week - the first was an article on alleged bias history programmes by those charming people at History Reclaimed; followed next day by an article on bias in drama by the Campaign for Common Sense.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/1 ... wing-bias/

Now the weird bit...the Campaign was begun by academy boss Mark Lehain who then ended up as a DfE advisor but is now with the CPS. The website has nothing new since June, and the Twitter account's last activity was in September. But of the report, there is no sign.

Even odder, and which made me a bit suspicious, was that a former BBC scriptwriter who wrote an opinion piece below the article and talked about it making for grim reading, well he was asked where the report could be found by someone - ironically belonging to History Reclaimed - and was told that he would try to find out.

Very strange reply given that he claimed to have read it...does it even exist yet?

Sam Freedman has put together his predictions for 2023 - his 2022 ones came out pretty much right with a couple of exceptions.

He's got his primary Twitter account back as well, nice of Musk to finally get round to sorting it.

Its the Torygraph folk who think *this government* are a bunch of woke socialists who really baffle me.

Hopefully 2023 isn't all bad :)

Good morning & a very Happy New Year to you all.

Son packed up his stuff and motored back to Wales this morning, and I'm listening to Handel's Amadigi...

My year got off to a cracking start by getting Wordle in 2. So there's that at least...
