MOTD might be fun to watch tomorrow just to see who decides to turn up.
Having made Linekar 'step back' Ian Wright and Alan Shearer have said they won't do it.
Edit - neither will Alex Scott. Or Mark Chapman.

This is turning into a real life "I Am Spartacus!" moment, isn't it? And though they may wish to, this government can't just crucify them all.

And today surely demonstrates that only one thing currently matters - we have to get this lot out the next time we have the opportunity.
Moaning about their successors can wait until that has been achieved.

MotD is gonna be 'interesting' tomorrow
Re: Friday 10th March 2023
And the reason they've been so terrible over the Linekar situation, is that through all the boats and immigrants situation, Labour's position has been 'the Tories intention - to keep immigrants out of the UK - is the correct one to have. It's just that they're bad at implementing it. Vote for us, and we'll keep the terrified, desperate people out of the country in a much more efficient manner'. To agree with Gary (and other campaigners) it to perform a u-turn on their current policy.refitman wrote: ↑Fri 10 Mar, 2023 10:45 pmBut do they have to be sooooo fucking useless at it?AnatolyKasparov wrote: ↑Fri 10 Mar, 2023 10:19 pm And today surely demonstrates that only one thing currently matters - we have to get this lot out the next time we have the opportunity.

Re: Friday 10th March 2023
I think that is a bit disingenuous from Bastani tbh, I've little time for Cooper especially but 24 hours ago few thought this would actually *happen*.
And its another "dog caught the car" moment as far as the Tories are concerned - the point of culture wars isn't actually to get what you supposedly "want".

Re: Friday 10th March 2023
It's almost impressive, quite how badly the BBC have fucked this.
