Sweden's entry is basically a really really miserable cover of "The Winner Takes it All" sung by a seemingly constipated artiste writhing around in a beige outfit (with straps).

Clanger rating
The above speaks for itself.

It's good that there's a former human-rights lawyer, in charge of Labour, what with everything going on lately...oh

That is a reasonable point as far as it goes surely, police *should* use their own discretion as well as being guided by the law.

What's the betting that Braverman was egging them on to do what they did?

Well, that's a fair question.

But equally, you don't think the current HS is currently encouraging them to?

What's that got to do with Starmer refusing to even look at the legislation.

Face it, he's an authoritarian, anti-worker, pro-business, pro-privatisation, lying, centre-right politician. You've been sold a pup.

Generally speaking, it is better - and certainly easier - to change legislation than to repeal it wholesale.

Especially when this government has developed the habit of including some non-controversial "good" stuff even amongst the genuinely horrific bills.

I defy you to disagree with me on this at least. Because you can't.

They've said they're not even going to look at it. :wall: :wall: :wall:

I will eat my hat if Labour go anywhere near this or the voting legislation, if they come into power.
