And his latest brilliant idea - not allowing blocking - is not just totally unworkable but could fall foul of various privacy laws.

Good evening.
Sadly. things aren't going that well for 'er indoors - dizziness, losing co-ordination in one, and then both hands which means she can't now feed herself.
Anyway, when every tiny piece of economic news is front pages news, this is interesting I thought.

If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.

Sorry about your other half RoT.
I hope things go as well for both of you as can reasonably be expected.

Finally got around to reading this article .
I eagerly await the news that Ama$on is contributing to Starmer and Associates 'office expenses' .
I eagerly await the news that Ama$on is contributing to Starmer and Associates 'office expenses' .
https://tribunemag.co.uk/2023/08/labour ... ers-rights" Party insiders describe a ‘smoked salmon and scrambled egg offensive’ to woo big business ahead of the next election. This is compounded by the Labour front bench reportedly meeting with lobbyists for Amazon, one of the world’s most anti-worker employers, in recent weeks. It all paints a picture of a party that is intensely relaxed about injustice in the workplace.
Labour has consistently enjoyed twenty-point-plus leads in the opinion polls. The Conservative Party is utterly exhausted and despised after thirteen years of austerity, a botched pandemic response, repeated scandals, and the worst cost-of-living crisis in living memory.
In this context, ditching workers’ rights policies would be, at best, a staggering act of political cowardice. At worst, it would demonstrate that Labour has sided with exploitative employers and will do little to address the poverty, insecurity and inequality that blight the nation. We await confirmation that this is the trajectory – but the latest evidence is bleak indeed. "

Joking aside, I definitely think the PM shouldn't go, he does far too much jetting about as it is.
William I'm not so sure, maybe a trip to the other hemisphere should have been arranged long ago so that the football could be fitted in if they did well.

Ok, this is a hell of a thread. It's not what you think it is and will probably make your blood boil

Refit -- Living quite simply and having no rent to pay (OUF!) I have enough$ to do the odd bit of research, so am awaiting an Aranet4 to measure CO2 levels, first of all in my rather small bedroom and then in my usual indoor shopping places .
Am sorely tempted to take it into my GP's surgery ... but that is NOT obvious! ( No problem at the chemists as we have a good mutual respect on research .)
The VERY new medical centre might not be so good at ventilation as it should be ... especially as local covid is creeping UP again .
On those nuclear experiments on civilians my blood boiled long ago
