Anne Nightingale has passed away - the last of the Radio 1 "Holy Trinity" (along with John Peel and Tommy Vance) that I avidly listened to as a teenager.

Governments that think they are going to lose rarely go before they have to.
Sunak will probably care more about clocking up two years as PM than perhaps saving a few council seats if he has a GE in May, too.
