Good morefternoon, all.

Weather horrendous here today, and the storm (as Brenda from Bristol said, not another one!) hasn't even properly arrived yet.

No storm here, just windy with windchill !

Nothing new, just a reminder of how precarious UK life is for so many --

Been a little busy on self-maintenance today so haven't checked if there is news on that shelling in Donetsk. I just hope it was not really by the UA side .

I'm told that WATO reminded today's IDF spoxx Regev that over a hundred Palestinians were being killed every day, no reply apparently .

Looks like Sunak has been pranked - there is a faked video of him purportedly lavishing praise on Farage doing the rounds.

Yes, I'm sure the NHS can find more efficiencies and it hasn't already been cut to the bone.

Well, there are efficiencies that the NHS could make - bringing services back in-house that were previously outsourced for a start.

I think I posted about a Trust in our area bring back in house patient transport. Outsourcing was always a nonsense- the very same people doing precisely he same work but with a company in between?

Elsewhere I see that JRM had that nice lady who used to run Restore Trust on his programme.

I see that she is now full-time at the Legatum Institute.

So where was the MD of said Institute before his current position?
Radomir was Special Adviser to Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP as Minister for Brexit Opportunities and Government Efficiency, then Business Secretary.
Well I never...

I'm not sure that's the kind of thing Wes's paymasters Wes is thinking of, unfortunately.
