Good morning.

Bernie Sanders was on C4 news last night, clearly in much better mental shape than Biden or Trump, despite being older.
If it is those two in the autumn, are they really going to do tv debates? Neither of them can string a sentence together.

Yesterday was a bad day in the HoC, and today isn't much better.

So, about that dangerous mob that was outside Parliament, that 'forced' the Speaker to put Labour's amendment to the vote...

Two sitting MPs have been killed in the last decade, they regularly receive the most blood-curdling abuse on social media.

(and no, not just about the current war)

I agree It doesn't help when they propose daft unworkable stuff like "ending online anonymity" or taking smartphones off juniors.

But equally, let's not pretend there isn't a problem.

Yes, two MPs have been killed. What's that got to do with people lying about a protest outside Parliament?

AND THERE WASN'T A MOB YESTERDAY! I notice you skipped over that part. There was a small group of peaceful protesters who actually want our representatives to do something. Anything.

I can totally see Starmer trying to ban protesting outside Parliament if/when he gets into power.

I'm actually agreeing that there wasn't a mob outside parliament yesterday - that's why I didn't contest that part of your post.

My point was, rather, that some would use this to claim there isn't a problem and MPs have no reason to be concerned about their own safety.

Unfortunately, this is not correct.

Highly believable account, I'm totally convinced :D

Oh, and no HoC "rules" were changed yesterday - informal conventions are not "rules".
