Afternoon
I heard the catflap at 0630 and got up a little later to see him flaked out by my bedroom door ... growling when I went to touch his back . He moved a bit, seriously limping and complaining .
He came downstairs later, suffering loudly, and then went to hide in the extension behind the kitchen. Vets are busy so planning to catch him for 6pm ... and I'm not moving in case he comes out .
I checked this man's backstory, and it's worth a look. He doesn't get as many views as the Russell Brands of this world (
) but at knocking 350k not a bad score for an antidote. If doubtful check out the latest comments as they are still drifting in 7 months later .
I distinctly remember Poland joining NATO and very soon afterwards buying US warplanes for which business the yanks kindly lent them $2Bn or so . It was salient enough for me to notice but i can't recall seeing it very strongly as "NATO surrounding Russia" . ( Nuance on that 'very' ... because it struck my mind !)
