Missed last night's on the Temporary PM and DLA/PIP because I was off to bed thinking of listening to the Week in Westminster .
That didn't take long as they began with the spiel from Gideon Alter, which we now definitely know to be completely untrue . A BBC R4 news also allowed him free reign . Disgrace. Also switched off.

Some years ago my sister had her 'NHS' hip done privately, and last week her husband had this, while they had themselves been thinking of paying up --

He saw a nurse at the surgery who looked at the X-rays and asked if he wanted to go on the NHS list - 9 months + - or go to the local Spire (Bupa as was) and wait a week

So are the specialists who do both going to be working overtime on the private, or what ?

The new capacity on the private hasn't come out of thin air ...
