If I wasn't so stoned I'd be in tears.

This is the end of the Union, the end of a collective view of the welfare state. England has clearly voted for increased cruelty and not being a fan of cruelty I think I'll head back north of the border.

I wish you could all come with me.

Have to admire the Lib Dems keeping some sense of humour as in this tweet.

Nicholas Watt @nicholaswatt
One @LibDems source: we will do better than 10 but not looking good. We can repaint @HarrietHarman minibus yellow + fit in our MPs

No thanks Sky, I'd be too angry with the Nats who are helping deliver Cameron back to Downing St.

Come to Wales instead, a Labour government here, and results show we haven't caught Nat fever.

But results show a worrying Ukip trend. The BBC Wales interviewer even asked the Plaid rep - don't you find it worrying that the Party of Wales isn't polling above Ukip in Wales?

Clegg - bollocks.

I'm going to try and get a couple of hours sleep before the kids get up and I have to take them to school.

It's been a very disappointing night, good luck to those staying up and those just getting up.

This can't get any worse.

What a night, even in most scenarios it wasn't this bad, the country is fractured, for good, for some, the plan was executed perfectly.

I noticed Clegg thanked the residents of Sheffield Hallam. As opposed to the student population, presumably. Should've thanked the tory tactical voters as well.
