Some 'trolls' can serve a useful purpose, making us look at things afresh; Notso, while terminally pedantic and unwilling ever to concede when he'd got it wrong, was one such. But second rate, frankly none too bright trolls - Rusty and his many sockpuppets for example - serve no real purpose except to provide a little fleeting amusement; they are the Grant Shapps of the goat eating world, trying to show how clever & cunning they are, et simply proving that if their brains exploded they would be unlikely to move a hair.
At the moment I'm enjoying poking him with a stick, when I get bored I'll just scroll on by; either way he is achieving nothing apart from taking up valuable storage space and wasting precious oxygen.

I had my fun popping up last Friday to add insult to injury and stick the boot in to Labour's catastrophic failure. I've had my fun watching the fallout and the panic on here, as plans are hastily cobbled together for the utter fantasy that is the 'Grand Coalition of the Left'. I'll be on my way. I'll leave you to your echo chamber and will desist posting on here. Well, at least until the Labour leadership election, when an 'I told you so' certainly isn't beyond the realms of possibility. After all, I have five years of Conservative majority government to relish; it hardly seems right to waste it winding up the zealots of the Labour Left.
I look forward to hearing the about roaring successes of the Grand Coalition in due course. Political earthquakes, tanks parked on lawns etc.

Would willing shell out some dosh to help the poor thing get some psychiatric treatment at a private clinic, so NHS patients wouldn't have to share the facilities with them.

Personalities with such tendencies are over-represented in politics, high finance, and management.

I do pray on occasion - though I have no idea who/what I'm praying to. Well, sort of meditate.
It's an AA thing - we kinda have to, really.
The idea is that if we pray for people we resent, the resentment goes away......as I don't resent these twerps, it won't work.
I know! I'll get up really early to feel sorry for 'em a bit longer. (It works when I want to hate IDS for a good long session)

I guess the thing with twat features is that it isn't actually interested in a discussion. Trolls never are. If it was merely presenting a right wing viewpoint then I wouldn't have an issue with it.

I know it's easier to say than do but totally ignoring anything they post would be my preferred choice but I've opted for 2
While some of them may post something useful in making us rethink attitudes the two(!) I've seen here recently are clearly just negative gloaters, with a common vocabulary, so perhaps just remove them from the main thread.

I'm voting for DonutHingeParty's option 4.
Reasonable discussion is not the same as trolling and the examples we have been given this week are easy to categorise. Plus, it's funny and I could do with a few laughs at the moment.

I think our current troll contributes absolutely nothing (at least the likes of OpenSeas/laverda "over there" would actually debate sometimes, in their own inimitable fashion)
