Good time to bury bad news and all that ;)

Though it does maybe add to rumours (reported in the latest Private Eye) that he could still stand as an Independent at the GE.

Evening All

Just a reminder of this excellent tool

http://vis.oobrien.com/indyref/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

which predicts results in East Lothian (narrowly No) and North Lanarkshire (narrowly Yes) at 2.00 am

Insofar as we know anything about this vote these look like interesting early indicators.

Yes - he's confirmed that now.
Craig Fowler:
More on the allegations of electoral fraud in Glasgow: apparently some people turned up to vote but were told that someone already had in their name. What I want to know is whether these fraudsters, after impersonating someone else, then tried to vote again using their own vote. And, if so, did they just come back ten minutes later wearing a hat or fake moustache?

The only thing that would make it look like a defeat for Salmond is if a larger than expected No vote was returned. I think even Salmond would struggle to spin securing more powers for Scotland in that up until yesterday he was dismissing what the Westminster parties had been offering in no uncertain terms. Then again, this is Salmond we're talking about.
Yes but if No wins 80/20 he can then laugh at Cameron for being tricked into giving away concessions by his piscine genius.
