Only one vote cast? That's a bad result for Ed Miliband.

Yes it did make a substantial difference. As a result of the HindleA Declaration, I think I am just about ready to concede that the Noes have it. But I am not yet ready to state, Order Order just in case anyone starts asking for cooked breakfasts. There is a large pot of Lady Colin Campbells Porridge just there on the stove. Help yourselves. Drat just missed three results... will retrieve them...

Oh, of course. Thanks. Well that, for me, means the vote's all in!

Result just in for Alex Salmond's own back yard (Aberdeenshire). Quite a definite "No". Which only goes to bear out how the Scottish voting patterns are bad news for Ed Miliband. All rather clunky, isn't it?

This increase in voter registration will presumably have a bearing on the GE. It's been a superb turnout percentage with a lower voting age.

"Pressure on Labour" meme repeated.

Well it's official then. Right now it's 55% for No and 45% for Yes so that's going to be hard for anyone to spin as a win for EU and English immigrants (as was being inferred on Twitter by some).

The argument over the make-up of a Federal UK is now going to dominate the GE.

And I guess this also means that Labour's Party Conference will go ahead now.

Aberdeenshire barely voted for devolution, the "experts" seem.to have a difficulty in differentiating between voting for a party and on an issue.

Watch now as the Tories try and engine a way to ensure that those 40 MPs don't get to vote.

As usual, Cameron took his eye off the ball, then went into crisis mode they winged it. He needs to stop doing that. But the biggest loser is not Salmond but Milliband.. to be less popular in Scotland than a Tory Eton toff overseeing austerity takes some doing.

After watching beeb coverage with younger son (unexpectedly, he seems very anxious about what happens now) am taking refuge from Jeremy Vine and his ghastly graphs. He pissed me off quite early by referring to part of his statistical bombast as being sorted by 'social grade' of whom the lowest are benefit claimants. Very sad for all those good yessers who will be feeling very down now, but not at all for the bully boys and girls. Very conflicted about all this talk about a federal England, I'd prefer something on how they are going to tackle local corruption first. Sort of surprised to see the whole thing presented as some kind of party political issue, bizarre. Loved reading everyone's commentary to now, beats the beeb and their minions.

Sort of relieved that we stay British, and united (hmm). Can we trust the politicians to totally misread any changes Scotland and by default the rest of us want, and do the wrong thing over and over.

If David Cameron starts crowing about this I do hope someone gives him a fat lip. Am already peeved that he has not thanked the entire Westminster contingent (and Gordon) for rescuing his bacon. Or at least for braving the mob.

I kept thinking if those were kipper figures we'd be scared shitless by them. Trying to imagine a federal Yorkshire. Aargh, I want to time travel back five years and set us on a different road. I'm dead set on missing Dave's predicted appearance, so think it must be time to sleep.

Well done UK for hanging in there even though you're held together by sticky stuff and baseless promises, we all know you are worth more than that.

Felt rather sorry for la Sturgeon, she's worth a hundred Salmon(d)s any day, and had the decency to put in an appearance.

Had to agree with son when he said this isn't the way to get change, no one will get what is needed. Let's hope they hang fire till we get a chance to place our own ballots.

My usual verbose type of post, but what the heck, it's tomorrow already and I can't find my off switch.

Peace to all.

Incredible amount of bitterness in evidence on Twitter right now. Everyone who voted No is a Tory, everyone who voted No is in favour of food banks, destroying the NHS etc and Labour are Tories and nobody is going to vote for them to teach them a lesson.
