Oh, there's a bit of me that feels very very angry too.
But I have to be careful with my high blood pressure. Trying to feel compassion is better for my body than ramping up the threat/stress/anger cortisol responses. I ain't dying because of some right wing toerag with the moral sense of a flea. He is not worth it.

I have a little more luxury than you, my blood pressure is kept under strict control.
And I am not a forgiving person when it comes to matters like this. It would be the same if this were a reversed situation. A demon has been unleashed today. We are every single one of us the more vulnerable from this moment onwards.
And next week, next Friday, once we know the result, there will be a Civil War.

Know how you feel and agree, but one man? This has been building since the coalition. I'd like to see all the hate mongers from day one when the scrounger rhetoric became a by-word, rounded up with Crosby in front. And Farage who's been allowed to get away with too much. His latest poster is a prime example.mbc1955 wrote:You're a better person than I am, yahyah, I want his body fed to the animals.yahyah wrote:citizenJA wrote:dreadful

I think the demon was released a couple of years ago. That's when it seems to have started to get violent (as opposed to just nasty).mbc1955 wrote:I have a little more luxury than you, my blood pressure is kept under strict control.

From yesterday's Scotsman:
An irate voter has been spared jail for threatening to kill a Labour councillor and chasing him down the street with a running chainsaw while the politician was on the campaign trail.
Conrad Procter, 40, shouted abuse at Labour councillor Paul O’Kane, 28, while he was out campaigning for former Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy - telling him he would “cut his head off”.

Britain First are doing a good job of being outraged about what's happened, blaming the media.
Why are they sending their slobby looking activists to training camps to do physical stuff if not because they want/expect/are provoking violence ?

Cox later said she regretted helping Corbyn get on the ballot paper, and pulled no punches after Labour’s poor performance in last month’s local and Scottish elections.
As the disappointing results rolled-in, Cox told the BBC: “Jeremy needs to personally recognise that this isn’t good enough.
“He needs to take responsibility, he needs to set out a route map to power in 2020, and let’s rally first and foremost around the EU referendum.
“We need to look very hard at what’s gone wrong in the last eight months and put it right.”
Asked if she expected a leadership challenge, Cox said: “Nobody is talking about that now and I don’t think it is the right course of action, but the clock is ticking.” '

I'm going to wait until there is a bit more clarity and confirmation to ponder what the motives might be.
