Alex Andreou is as bitter as I feel. ' ''Principled'' lefties up and down the land voting for #Lexit have to be worth 2% right ? Prime Minister Boris thanks you in particular.''

I'm sorry, but I feel as aggrieved as when the so called progressive parties targeted Labour and Ed M last year. Principles don't butter no parsnips.

This isn't a good day: my shift is running an hour earlier than usual today because of my appointment earlier, and I've already had to revert to coffee within 45 minutes.

I feel like I've been up without sleep for about forty eight hours when I've really only been awake since 6.00am

F***ing "Lexit". F*** off. Deluded snowflake idiots.

A little more forceful than I'd have phrased it, but can't disagree with the sentiment.

Thank god I made the decision to vote Remain. I panicked after sending my vote off, wavered somewhat and wondered if I'd done the right thing. Would be chewing my arm off if I had voted Leave, after seeing things unfold and Farage's triumphalism.
It was their list that drew my contempt, not the vote per se. This "get out first" and then educate people and elect a democratic socialist government. It was a missive from bloody la la land. Which, amazingly enough, is not where we appear to be.

With any luck, when the t***s realise they've been had, the backlash will be as bad as for the Lib Dems.
It may even knock UKIP back into the sewer.

OK - the thing isn't legally binding - it's an expression of opinion (which at least some people might now be thinking twice about). So the EU can't make us do anything before we make it legal, and we can put together a cross party crisis group that sorts this sodding thing out (including the fact that they now have a cast iron reason to debate the lack of referendum rules in parliament). Having successfully conned the public into voting for this, am not really sure (particularly given Farage's own stipulation about the margin of a win) that said decision needs to be "respected". Can we have some proper leadership please (Gordon, Ed).

Thanks

Yes, very likely. But I wouldn't have agreed with them.

Edited to clarify -

Or, rather, I believe that Ed Miliband would have run a much better campaign. If he had been leader and had run a poor one, I might agree with them.

That phraseology doesn't even make complete sense, tbh.

He's *not* saying only 4 in 10 Labour voted remain, or 4 in 10 Tory leave - even though it can easily be read that way?

They are getting bolder. I reported a couple of posts on Cif early on today.
One nastily called for 'scroungers and n'ere do wells' to be 'mucked out' now, and 'Death to Socialism' which seemed rather sick after last week's murder.

The media seem to have completely ignore Britain First's militant activism camp being only a few days before the murder. No one seems to be interested in looking into it.

How ironic, all those right wingers and Kippers spending the last six years telling us that Gordon Brown melted down the world's finances.
Along comes Nigel Farage and a few Tory ultras, with help from naive Labour people and whadya know...they may have themselves a financial crisis of their very own.
