Showing off.

Good or bad?

I met my cousin over the weekend and he'd rented a Mercedes to drive around in for £900.

Cars to me are just boxes on wheels. And he seemed to make a big deal about the fact he was driving it around stoned.

After he turned up to pick me up in Wigan when I was in fact in Warrington.

He works for Cisco in Canada which you would imagine would be enough to satisfy one's ego but apparently not.

If I had £900 spare I'd probably use it to make socks for cats with cold feet or something.

Not the best person to ask.I enjoy avoiding spending.Relieving the table of newspaper in foyer of a nearby Copthorne hotel for some time gave me immeasureable delight,as does somehow accessing subscription crosswords without subscription etc.Being mean,I suppose is a form of showing off.

I regularly try - and spectacularly fail - to avoid showing off.
But it never involves cars. I like trains. But I don't own one.

To own a train Tiny one has to be a steam enthusiast with thousands of pounds to spare, or alternatively be even richer and get a franchise then make a profit from the subsidies.

I also would love to have a train. But I'm poor.
