Live music in Leeds

Post by PaulfromYorkshire »

This evening I used a ticket for someone who couldn't go and went to see The Selecter, The Beat, Stiff Little Fingers, The Buzzcocks in Leeds Millennium Square.

What important bands. Best moment was while mashing to the Buzzcocks some guy got a bit arsey. I stuck my tongue out at him like a kid and he simply didn't know what to do

I saw SLF a few years ago and people threw so much beer around the place that they broke the mics, and they had to go off and have the roadies replace them.

Written after house-sharing with a few teachers in London and hearing them talk about the lives of the young people they saw every day

I love music and people but not events featuring large numbers of both
