My first Smartphone.

Post by Sky'sGoneOut »

I've spent years looking down on those who owned more sophisticated mobile phones than myself.

But then my good old trusty Sony Ericsson W810i died last week after nearly 8 years of honourable service.

So I went on Amazon and thought I might as well buy something vaguely modern.

And ended up with this...

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's fucking awesome!

An adult toy I can mess around with to my heart's content and then further.

And the anime strip poker girls are in much higher resolution.

I used it briefly in the pub tonight to find somewhere in North Wales but otherwise put it away.

What's the point of being bullshit drunk if anyone can with a swipe of their finger expose your bullshit?

I'm a member in Leeds of a thing called 'The friends of Roundhay Park'.

So anyway this morning we were planting bulbs for next year and I noticed kids with parents pointing their phones around looking for Pokemon creatures.

There was a Coot nearby diving for food for the cute little chicks following it around.

And none of them paid the slightest attention.

Even the parents. They just took pictures of their kids looking for Pokemon.

Humanity is fucked.

I go to Leeds three/four times a year. The half marathon for more than a decade in a row.We used to go shopping,or more correctly I used to play the martyr whilst trying to persuade non buying of things or curb spend,of course it never worked.I like Leeds, but I shall endeavour to visit "new" to me parts, sometimes I get too comfortable in familiarity and miss out because if it.

You're pissed,I wouldn't like to take advantage and you'll regret it in the morning.

Seriously, the next time I visit,I will endeavour to include some kind of adventure as you put it.

Handy tip which may be useful. When doing naked vacuum cleaning, always ensure to keep the nozzle away from areas you wish protected at least three feet further away than you would think.Of course this depends on various factors, strength of suction, excitement levels, width and length of protected area and of course temperature and weather conditions.

Not so much I saw my life flash in front of my eyes, more fear of seeing parts of me disappear into a black hole.

I suppose you could call the above,a new experience I got the idea from a Radio 4 afternoon play, which if you happen to not know, always contains sex, once involving Bernard Cribbins, but it wasn't as a womble,I am sure you are glad to hear,or being pedantic to myself, read,or indeed not read as the case might be.

Ok Hindle, let's think of an adventure.

I am currently at a disadvantage as to what tickles your fancy adventure wise so shall briefly put forth my own requirements.

It has to include scantily clad women, dinosaurs and spaceships.

I'm sure we can both agree on that.

Oh and you'd have to put up with me being a bit of a spaz.

I just walked nearly 2 miles back and forth to the closest all night garage because I'd forgotten to buy Rizlas.

Thing is though on the way I met a fox. I pretended to have food in my hand and it snaffled across the path towards me before realising I was bullshitting and leisurely scampering off. It's about the closesst I've ever got to a fox in my life and it wouldn't have happened had I not been a drunk idiot looking to get stoned.

Anyway before you say anything 'spaz' seems to be de rigueur amongst the autistic kids some lunatics have placed in my temporary care.

And it's an epithet they're mostly aiming at me.

So...

Anyway here's some Welsh electro space pop.

Not enough people watch seventies Soviet sci-fi films and make psychedelic videos about it afterwards.

Funny enough my last visit to Chester involved the first two ,although in the singular in the first case and the promised spaceship went to the wrong planet I told them not to rely on the satnav.
Warning though I don't drink or do drugs,I might be a bit too tame,on the other hand I am quite capable of "cutting out the middleman" as it were and acting as if I do.My only requirements/suggestions would be at least some time walking backwards, shouting "Fuck Off" at the top of my voice in a crowded place, giving my name as Robert Mugabe-which I spontaneously did in an Argos store,so they announced it to tell me my item was ready although Trixie Pixie from Dixie could be an alternative.

Edited.Yes "reclaiming the word"-deweaponising.All night garages(mine similarly distance,it was an essential to consider given rural location before purchase of house, thankfully it still "survives".Not unknown to take night time/pre dawn hikes to get the essentials.

I would have happily joined you in walking backwards and shouting fuck off.

You need only have asked.
