Brexit trade talks may be reduced to as little as 10 months
UK ministers admit slow progress on negotiations over withdrawal may hinder move on to crucial second phase of talks
From the linked article -
Effectively putting off trade talks until 2018 would be embarrassing for the British government,
This whole thing is an embarrassment of embarrassments. I think we're stuffed so far as the riches are concerned.

The devalued currency has made imports more expensive, cutting into the margins of many British businesses and making some unsustainable. One pound bought just over €1.30 on the eve of the vote, compared to just €1.09 now.

Southern Salads ceased trading “with immediate effect” on Wednesday after 31 years supplying local restaurants and supermarkets.

The company relied on European companies for its supplies and had invested heavily in new facilities in the hope of expansion but this did not materialise.

Kent's voters echoed the mood of the nation by delivering an almost unanimous LEAVE vote.
Tonbridge and Malling voted leave by 41,229 votes to 32,792.

Yes, it was yesterday. Exploratory op (an -oscopy...no, don't ask me what it's really called) to see what's the extent of it next Tuesday and a biopsy at the same time. Then they decide what to do next.

So, we'll hope for the best and hope they don't find anything too nasty in there.

The Brexit vote was about the left-behind working class.

Well-off Tonbridge folk thought it was time their area had some.

People voted the way they did for different reasons and "similar" Labour MP's with the same leave/remain vote had wholly different GE results, neighbouring ones did here.

The bloke he's replying to is a "gamer". A lot of those seem to be appalling.

Remember that fascist on the Daily Telegraph BTL who really didn't like being called left-wing? Jake Piggot or something.
