I've put the kettle on, PorFavor
Re: Wednesday 14th February 2018
Sky News (TV) - Arlene Foster says, "There is no prospect of etc etc." So no power-sharing deal agreed.
Another triumph for Theresa May, and a filip for the "Brexiteers".
Edited - typo
Although not good for Northern Ireland, of course.

One world, like it or not - John Martyn

I'd better clarify my comment about the "Brexiteers" and Northern Ireland, otherwise you might think I'm serious. What I mean is, it's one more bit of uncertainty swirling around which can't help them in these rocky times. I hope.

My edits have gone rogue. I did try to explain them!

Will we turn orange - or just have excellent night vision?
Re: Wednesday 14th February 2018
Mentioning "carrots" is one thing. Reading the (and I hesitate to use the word) 'words' he used, is another.gilsey wrote:We already had the carrots, Dan.

Re: Wednesday 14th February 2018
It's very important isn't it? Finally Emperor Boris, the very symbol of all that is worst with the Brexit shambles, has no clothes. The Crace article was excellent.
Presumably we can expect more of the same from May, Fox and Davis. There's half a chance of something vaguely coherent from Lidington, but nobody knows who he is anyway.
The game's up.

Yes - I thought the John Crace article was a cut above. Different mood to it, somehow.
Boris Johnson is being scorned on Sky News and Theresa May is being pitied.

Thank you for your interest. Speaking as a border I am sorry to see that your country has such a massive divide in it. I suggest installing a border inside it to keep it together.
