Tusk told reporters on Friday: “I am glad the UK government seems to be moving towards a more detailed position.
“However, if the media reports are correct, I am afraid the UK position today is based on pure illusion. It looks like the cake [and eat it] philosophy is still alive.

a third of Scottish Tory MPs have now pledged allegiance to a hard Brexit led by Jacob Rees-Mogg, an outcome endorsed by no single constituency in Scotland.

What is amazing is that it s now seen as a significant step for Labour to commit to remaining in the customs union (or if [verbose hardcore party liners with no judgement] prefer, entering into a customs union materially identical to the current one upon leaving it.)

That is twice you have referred to me as a 'moron' because of my position
Firstly 'moron' is a relic of the 80s but is not a word I would ever use to describe someone because of its erstwhile links to a real mental conditions
Secondly, the concept you refer to as 'moronic' is perfectly reasonable and explicable - you can find this distinction being discussed a lot recently
Thirdly, an amendment saying 'the EU Custom's Union' will not pass the HoC whereas one with 'a custom's union with the EU' could do
I would report you (again) for saying this but I have done so before and nothing ever happens - I will now just call you out on it
For the actual distinction between 'a' and 'the' - there are plenty English textbooks or you could bother to read previous posts
Apologies to others who find this tedious but I am not letting this person get away with this

Of course Hugo is more capable that both him and Keir Starmer who have no credibility or respect within legal circles

The Public Accounts Committee will examine the Adult Social Care Workforce on Wednesday 28 February 2018.
"There are currently 1.34 million jobs in adult care, shared between local authorities and the private sector. During 2016–17, the vacancy rate across the sector was 6.6%, with annual turnover in the workforce at 27.8%. She is not worried about this vote.
She is worried about the one on 'a customs union'
There are two amendments
See the Grieve interview and it will say why
Labour will not vote for 'the EU Customs Union' at the moment, if ever
This is one of the reasons the debate is so poor on Brexit - the political commentators do not seem to want to understand the nuances. The lawyers in the HoC do which is why we get these seemingly pedantic discussions
Personally I do not see what is so difficult to understand
