More important than ever of course for those of us deemed impure by the how shall we put it the more fervent members to stay, purity is weakness.I shall continue to criticise as I see fit as I have always done regardless.Definately a cleansing operation. No use denying there isn't a cultish element, there always is.

The cultish element is possibly just more visible because of social media.

I follow David Lammy on twitter because he cheers me up. He manages to be unashamedly pro-remain, whilst still focussing on a wide range of important issues without any criticism of the Labour leadership or signs of factionalism.

He reminds me of the Labour party I joined, I guess. And I like reading the newsletters from our MEP Claire Moody. Labour are a really positive force within the EU Parliament. It's a shame such hard working dedicated people have been so unappreciated by little Englanders. The Brexiters claims of the EU's undemocratic nature is incomprehensible to me. We're well represented in reality.

People don't choose to be single parent families. Two children in my daughter's year alone ended up in single parent families after losing a parent to cancer. It's often a temporary situation. People move on, form new relationships. They just need something to fall back on when the worst happens. Do Tory MPs know how difficult it is to cope with the bureaucracy of changing child benefit from a deceased parent's name to the surviving parent, whilst coping with childcare, funeral arrangements etc? I've seen people go through this. These are the people who benefit (or did benefit) from our safety net in the real world. The "scroungers" rhetoric has been devastating to the fabric of our society. We are all poorer for it.

If achieved it could provide a safety net against a "no deal" Brexit, making a parliamentary vote rejecting a withdrawal agreement not to Labour's liking less risky.

As things stand at the moment Labour would be forced to accept any agreement May put to them to avoid a cliff edge, but a legal requirement of no border could force May to avoid such a cliff edge by seeking to extend article 50 instead.

As she has already accepted no border in theory, she has few arguments against putting that into law. The main one rests on the assumption of article 50 not being unilaterally irrevocable, meaning achieving no border is not within her gift but dependent on negotiation and you can't legislate for the outcome of a negotiation.

Despite my better instincts decided to attempt this training lark. When I say training,I mean move faster than glacial.Within a few minutes a bus stop appeared from nowhere and I wrapped myself around it.Lesson learnt keep to organised events where you can follow people. The fact that they tend to have bouncy bits to concentrate on,is purely coincidental.

Error to agree "on principle" IMHO,regardless 1."simplification" isn't a good thing in itself and 2.Overwhelmingly old/present system did satisfy better off in work supposed justification, they've actually 'reversed' it in what was our case.In broad terms the further away from the "simple" very much the minority situation the more danger/self engendered problematic.
