Yes, but the government decided to sit for two years instead of one, so wouldn't it be more natural for him to resign at the end of the current session next year, rather than half way through?AnatolyKasparov wrote:Wasn't he supposed to be handing over around now anyway?

There is a simple, popular, practical, democratic solution to the Brexit border impasse. The citizens of Northern Ireland should be given the option to vote for their own future.

Did he really say "North Sea" or is it a reporting error over at Politics Live?In the Lords Lord Duncan of Springbank, a minister in the Northern Ireland Office and the Scotland Office, is now winding up for the government.
He says the government is clear; it will not allow a border to be put in place in the North Sea. (Politics Live, Guardian)

Well good for Lord PattenHitting back at arch-Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg, who accused the Lords of “playing with fire” by inflicting Brexit defeats, Lord Patten warned: “I'll tell you what playing with fire is - blundering into Northern Ireland with a policy which is clueless and deluded with a can of petrol and a box of matches in the other hand.”

Today my daughter’s headteacher told her class that the next 2 weeks are the most important ones of their lives. Not the daughter who is taking GCSEs, the one who’s doing her SATs.

@Willow,with respect not so much duty of care to the "needy".Historical amnesia abounds we have never adequately funded deinstititutionism in the broadest sense including otherwise in hospital treatments,it is an independent living issue. The fascistic message is clear you shouldn't be in your own home.

Possibly think vast cost saving investment in extra costs allowance, subject to circumstance.I repeat half way to one dialysis session a week.equivalent.Or,I should have got paid and/or other people charged "in fairness" for overseeing dialysis, taking bloods, injections, ordering stock etc.
