Hindle and Sky's excellent adventure.
After meeting at the opulent hotel Hindle had chosen (only to then get an upgrade) we made our way to a Thai street restaurant where, because Sky knew what he was doing and got us out early on a Saturday, we got a table straight away. Neither of us had the slightest clue about Thai food despite having eaten it previously but more by luck than judgement we got away with it and the food was splendid. Then we just wandered about blathering on to each other stopping at pubs occasionally so I could refuel. Hindle, not being a drinker of alcohol, Hindle consumed more caffeine in the form of Coca Cola's than I could drink in a week.
And now he has to get to sleep and run 13 miles tomorrow. I wish him well in this foolish endeavour.
He deserves all the pain that's coming to him after saying I was more 'normal' than he imagined .
Seriously though, we should all do this kind of thing.
I think we're all good people and meeting up somewhere would be a good thing.

I'm afraid it's a trick of perspective.
If I did have giant hands I'd happily take on Trump by picking up big things and such like, but my hands are normal sized.

That's actually quite possible.
Well apart from you being there grinning in a photo.

It wasn't a grin but part flatulence and shock.Especially over the cost of drinks,it was 50p a pint when I stopped. Then you've got the no smoking thing, though the balcony was cool even if raining.

Re: Hindle and Sky's excellent adventure.
I see, so what you're saying is you were actually grimacing at paying for expensive drinks while farting and in no way grinned at my phone while I waved it around in front of us after asking you if it would be ok if I took a photo and posted it here?
Is that what you are saying?
Honest to god £7.50 (I remember) in a central Leeds hotel for two drinks is cheap. I was amazed you got money back from a tenner.
Anyway it's my round next time.

And Hindle is right, if your guest is a smoker please take them somewhere they can smoke or they will spend all of their time worrying about not being able to smoke.
The problem is such places are becoming increasingly hard to find.
