Aglesey is fabulous, it's littered with barrows and dolmens and all manner of ancient stuff. But I also saw killer whales.

They were just swimming along right there about maybe 30 feet away in the bay you can see in the fourth photo and they were absolutely bloody massive. You see them on TV and think you have an idea of their scale. Well no, you don't. In real life they're fucking enormous.

I did try to get pictures of them but they only surfaced for a few seconds at a distance and my crappy phone camera got nothing but smudgy blurs.
