You are responsible for your number, give the guy a free entry for next years or something, hardly traumatic, the running fraternity can be so "precious",the looks I get when puffing away as part of my warm up when I should be setting an example by some.Away from others,in a corner somewhere, clarification. To be fair the walk half a mile across land mines etc so you can bemoan being forced to breathe in smoke is a well known syndrome.
Sorry for repeat but additional bollox for free.

Re: Friday 22nd June 2018
Something that happened yesterday amused me...
We have a gas boiler which has a filter which needs a special plastic key to open. Anyway, the last service came up last year and the key had gone missing - couldn't find it anywhere. The engineer said it wasn't a problem then but could be if we couldn't find it this year. But I still couldn't find it and was contemplating having to arrange to buy a new filer as the keys are individually made.
So anyway, got back from swimming, went into the utility room to hang up my towel - lobbed the towel over the towel rail which is right by the boiler and crash! Something had fallen down into the recycling box which lives right under said boiler.
What the hell was that I wondered? Peered into the recycling box...and there was the key.
Presumably the engineer from 2 years ago had left the key on top of the boiler itself and it had sat there while I hunted high and low for it.

If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.

"I remember the time before chip timing when if you wanted to know your actual time you had to do it yourself"I never did,a pic crossing the finish line and clock was a common option to buy but it wasn't your time.

IE cover what has already decided, the SSAC is packed with in the same directionalists ie.overseers of policy they previously advocated/the Government acted on.Eg.Pickles "reduce all ESA to JSA"

Solution or illusion? – the implications of Universal Basic Income for Disabled people
Absolutely no question in my mind,UC should be a stark warning.

Note the similarity of very much not universal in actual pilots, the trouble is the tangental, peoples' lives have changing circumstances sometimes within an instance ie they do not conveniently categorise.

The problems unaddressed, conveniently ignored, meandering questionable use of time, thought and effort far better applied to what is.IMHO.

Of course I am as biased as anyone,it worked for us,a salutory lessen to be careful on what basis you bemoan, potential for appropriation particularly the right not to be institutionalised to work/participate warped to a means of punishment/playing one off against another, work with what still is rather than blanket condemn, there still remains good parts lets save and rebuild rather than aid further destruction.

PIP is rebuilding to DLA,they've abandoned the million or so they intended to later move, though obviously that number reducing naturally, abandoned abolishing AA etc. They don't always win.

Would have foregone about a tenner a week works pension with the abolishing the possibilty of continued work and receive housing support/half contribution "allowance",by the way,so much for encouraging people to think about their retirement needs(rather than get into debt encouragement),by the way.

You wouldn't have to have return to work after x policies if you didn't disallow it.The simplistic binaryism/mindset of the Tory mind, creating the very thing supposedly addressed.

Would happily avoided means tested,if contributions meant much pre retirement, increasingly post, extra
needs costs actually met, would have done for longer, possibly totally.Multi directional pincer movements lessening State reciprocity, exponential.cut in income despite their pretence of protection, certainly over time quite substantial,CT increase, lessening support more broadly that facilitates less need for means tested, now and in the future, increasing charging for any support etc.

Increasingly "trapping" people and then blaming them for it.
