It could be a new version of 'Just a minute' discuss Labour policy for 60 seconds without hesitation, repetition, deviation or anti-Semitic trope.

Too expensive (and tacky) reminds me - many years ago the Sheffield Catholic Cathedral giftshop had a reduced price figurine of the Virgin Mary, labelled as 'Imperfect'

Opening access to the countryside
The country’s first ever specialist centre in Oxfordshire will improve countryside access for wheelchair users, those with mobility needs, horse riders, cyclists and walkers.

Latest Minister Against the Disabled ,patronising, hypocritical, vomit inducing
"...members of the public have actively been encouraged to explore the reserve through the removal of unnecessary stiles, gates and fences and the installation of easy-access gates. This is key to the National Nature Reserve Strategy, itself a year old in September, which seeks to see England’s nature restored, enriched and reconnected to people.

Landowners, land managers, rights of way officers and other users will be able to book onto training courses at the National Land Access Centre to aid understanding of the new standard and its application. This will involve testing new equipment with a view to installing it across the nation. Its implementation will help ensure that everyone can access and enjoy the countryside."
Removing unnecessary stiles and installation of easy-access gates? They've removed stiles. There weren't no easy-access gates just a lot of spikes.

Well, if some Tories jumped ship first it might be a bit surprising actually. Would certainly go against some long-standing media narratives.

EU diplomats reject Raab claim that Brexit talks are 'closing in' on deal

Minister’s comments on negotiations over Irish border problem seen as optimistic

Dominic Raab has surprised EU officials and diplomats by optimistically claiming the Brexit talks are “closing in” on a solution to the Irish border problem, following a 30-minute telephone conversation with Michel Barnier.

In reality, the two men had a call that lasted about 30 minutes on Friday, sources said. EU diplomats in Brussels also expressed astonishment at the sunny outlook offered by the British cabinet minister over the state of the negotiations. (Guardian)

#Neil Crowther
he more I read about de-institutionalisation the more I think a major error is to position institutions as 'the bad thing' rather than as symptomatic of extreme exclusion. They should be phased out, but doing so without addressing their causes will not create the alternative.

..instead, countries just reinvent institutionalisation, scaled down, sometimes hard to discern, but with all its unfreedoms, segregation & hostilities, still denying people equality and inclusion, but can then say 'but we closed the old institutions'. This is happening all over.
