His examples as illustration of a Byzantium system and things he had never heard of are now part of advice,as an example of his lack of the very basics.

Morning all.
I see that Hammond's back to calling it "Labour's recession".
31 countries out of 34 in the OECD went into recession at pretty much the same point but it's "Labour's recession"

Freeze means effective cut of course despite the disingenuity of "protection"Exponential purposeful harm but nice juicy tax cut benefitting the better off,presumably a better class of "striver"

I mentioned yesterday that the World at One had just had two of Osborne’s former accomplices on , (to give balance, because they differed on one or two details ?), and later we had this --
@paulmasonnews
The BBC Ten O'clock News actually ran a clip from George Osborne's former chief of staff praising Hammond budget as if he was some kind of impartial "expert". Switch the fuck off, people. Watch #c4news

Yes. Rather an "unexpected" response from him. I didn't expect it, and don't understand it.

Re: Tuesday 30th October 2018
Been out drinking this evening with a friend who has been part of the Labour party for all the years I've known him.
I shan't bore you with the details but after a night of discussing the rise of the right* at the end he said to me 'We have a fight on our hands'.
And I said 'Do we?'
We're both in our late forties and as far as I'm concerned I've tried. Yet everything seems to be turning to shit. The Boomers get a lot of stick but what about us from the so called generation X? What the fuck have we achieved? Because to me right now it looks like we inherited an ongoing somewhat successful fight against racism, an ongoing somewhat successful fight against gender inequality and an ongoing somewhat successful attempt to get people to use respectful language and we've fucked them all up. Every single one of them.
So perhaps it's time we left well alone and gave the next generation a chance because we've been fucking useless.

We weren't so boring to talk about politics all night, we also discussed who had been to the doctor for the worst thing, how we seemed to be farting more, how our ex-girlfriends had got fat. That kind of thing.
