From the daily politics in the graun. Nothing new, just 'you need to pass this agreement, it's the only agreement there is or will be'. Which is true, but which isn't the point. But this morning the Daily Telegraph reports that it has seen a summary of the bill sent to cabinet ministers last week and that it confirms that all the supposedly new concessions are ones that have been offered already.

The predicted results & chart are interesting (tried to attach chart but think it will appear to large), it has Labour losing seats but not too Brexit party.
So if correct, Labours posn. on Brexit might be losing remain voters to 'remain' parties but isn't strengthening the far right, could do worse?

Looking around at some old stuff, this was posted on twitter buy Guy Verhofstadt just under two years ago. Good to see the government have been getting on with dealing with things so well.

And one person in particular seems to be responsible for that. Clue - they had a car crash interview on the telly yesterday.

Why did we need another 'centrist' party that supported austerity anyway, LDs have performed that function adequately for nearly a decade.AnatolyKasparov wrote: Increasingly the bottom line seems to be that they launched before they were ready.

Even being hit by an egg can hurt quite a bit, the thing about a milkshake is that it doesn't - but *does* make the recipient look stupid.

Sadly some remainers have become radicalised, to the extent that normal campaigning is becoming impossible.
For a civilised democracy to work you need the losers consent, politicians not accepting the referendum result have led us to this.
Even though Farage has used the term [losers' consent], it is not apparent that he understands the concept. (Politics Live, Guardian - my emphasis)

Shaming. This report is Human Rights Watch’s first project explicitly focused on obstacles to ensuring the right to food, as part of the right to an adequate standard of living, in the context of a welfare system in a rich democracy with a relatively well functioning rule of law system. Previous work by the organization on the right to food has focused on countries facing famine, or acute food shortages, usually linked to the state’s decision to withhold food from or obstruct access to food for some groups.

"While the number of disabled workers rose by 178,000 last year, the total number of disabled people rose by 197,000. This indicates that the rise in the disabled workforce was driven primarily by people already in work who were being reclassified as disabled, not by a marked decrease in the number of disabled people out of work."

Thousands of teenagers in care are being "dumped" in unregulated homes and "abandoned to organised crime gangs", the BBC has been told.
The number of looked-after children aged 16 and over living in unregistered accommodation in England has increased 70% in a decade, Newsnight has found.
