It isn't even all that big, some figures I saw earlier said tests carried out had only gone up 12% since August while positive cases had tripled.
I may not have got the details quite right but that's the gist of it.

I read that the last time anyone was so far behind in the polls to his opponent before winning the Presidential election was George H. W. Bush to Michael Dukakis and that poll was in June giving Bush months to catch up.
The New York Times had quotes over the weekend from pro-Trump Republican strategists saying he was screwed but let's face it, we've been shat on so many times lately that I don't think any of us are going to be even remotely optimistic until the fucker is actually gone.
