One of the consequences of these lockdowns is our local urban wooods are packed with middle class parents and their diminutive spawn at the weekends. And they're the least friendly people, your average dog walker will at least say hello or even stop for a brief chat but try getting Mummy and Daddy out with little Jocasta to register your existence as you walk past and they'll stare at you horrified as if you've got 'I'm going to murder your child and fuck its corpse' tattooed on your forehead. Stick to Center Parcs you wankers.

Just thought I'd get that off my chest.

I have been to Canada, but not to the potato museum. I went to tea with my friend Richard and his mum asked if I wanted to go to Canada with them at Easter and I said yes and went home and told my mum I was going to Canada at Easter with Richard. I was 5.

For some reason it brings to mind Spinal Tap.

My Dad grew some weird potatoes this year, they were purple and had some American name that I can't recall, all you could do with them was boil them and even then they needed about 40 minutes. The one attempt to mash them (even after the 40 minute boiling) resulted in blisters and mash that resembled semi-hardened concrete and the less said about the roasting attempt the better.

In memory of the friend I haven't seen since March who is still very much alive but bought a house that's a massive pain in the arse to get to at the best of times never mind during a pandemic.

Johnson might have to self-isolate then, just as we are reaching a crucial stage in the talks with the EU. Maybe even slightly convenient, perhaps?

What does it matter? The 'deal' they're going after is a paltry affair that covers none of the major sectors of our economy.

The shit is going to hit the fan and then they'll spend the next couple of years trying to do further deals to smear it out as thinly as they can.
