Re: Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th May 2025
Morning !
I finally got thought to Refit's DEPORTATION BLUSESKY post's link , about a crazy, deluded, above all CHEAP and dishonest use of 'statistics' --
" Defence secretary latest Labour MP to misrepresent government’s record on immigration returns
Defence secretary John Healey is the latest Labour MP to incorrectly refer to the total number of immigration returns carried out under the government as ‘deportations’.
On Thursday 8 May, on Times Radio Breakfast [01:12:30], Mr Healey said: “24,000 people have been deported because they have no right to stay in Britain.” The claim was picked up by Full Fact’s AI tools.
But as we explained in a fact check last month, the 24,000 figure refers to the total number of immigration returns carried out between 5 July 2024 and 22 March 2025. Not all of these returns meet the official definition of a ‘deportation’—in fact, the majority involved people who left the UK voluntarily. We don’t know exactly how many of the 24,000 returns were officially classed as deportations.
We’ve contacted Mr Healey to ask him to correct the error, and will update this blog post if we receive a response. "

AI is getting in everywhere! I still haven't read the clipped local paper article of its use in our agriculture .
Healey is Defence minister FFS, why should he be perfectly briefed 24/7 on every last policy in the whole of government ? OK he's in the bloody Cabinet but there should be limits ? I at first assumed one of his SpAds briefed him with that rubbish, or was it the McSweeney Information Control Department ? Whichever, they should get a bollocking .

I’ve just had first hand experience of a loved one in a privately owned care home (the company own hundreds in the U.K. - registered in the Caymans!) It was abysmal! Appalling food. No diabetic or other health-related options. ‘Care‘ was minimal. Rooms were tiny - pack ‘em in!

Same story here with a cousin in supposed upmarket home in Paris , biggest group in Europe I think.... Scandal exposed by a journalist ° + his book . Govt intervened with 50% ownership, indirectly, but they only did a 'financial restructuring' , the wankers .
