On the lack of posts, I do think one thing Sunak has partly succeeded in is calming down the media circus. Where Truss clearly courted it, I think Sunak would prefer the day to go by without being on TV. Hunt is good at the same and maybe he’s slipping something in Braverman’s tea!

I do genuinely think Starmer would see the attendant circus as an unwelcome distraction.

Though if DM is genuinely desperate to return to the HoC, he can stand as the Labour candidate against the Indy incumbent in Islington North
