Not, strictly speaking, a cover version but well worth the share!

Theme music for The Last of the Mohicans, performed (on three guitars) by Luca Stricgnoli. The man is a sheer genius and this blew me away:

I actually went out and bought the album on the back of this. Surprisingly good, but he does have a little help from Joe Jackson, Ben Folds and a concert audience.....

Hmmm, seems to be a Nordic Nutters theme developing here. These guys are Norwegian. This gem was introduced to me over a late-night post-gig beer with a band performing in our local music festival this weekend.
Ladeeez'n'Genlemen, I give you the Hurra Torpedoes and their faithful rendition of Bonnie Tyler's epic 80's track Total Eclipse Of The Heart, as performed on Electric Guitar and The White Goods Section Of Currys. (Band's clothing supplied by the Polyester Marketing Board).
You're welcome!

As promised, Johnny Cash covers Hurt by Nine Inch Nails. A cheery little number about heroin reinterpreted by a gravely ill Cash.

Okay, so something a little lighter. How about some mellow Paul Weller? Wild Wood should do it.
As performed by a complete fruitcake known as Ash Mandrake, in my very own pub on a Sunday lunchtime as he not so much covers, as completely deconstructs the song. In a silly hat, and with a guitar that's the conjoined bastard offspring of the cheapest Gibson and Bo Diddley's box geetar. Oh, and a microphone on the "guitar", and a loop box. Enjoy!
