It wasn't caused by an earthquake, it caused the earthquake.

It comes rather neatly just ten days after Tice's telling us to enjoy the hot weather ...

Pffft!

No mention in the article even of how much the unions donate to Labour .

Not exactly how I'd have phrased it, but there is also this --
Vob @vob.bsky.social · 3 h
downing street is using unions as a scapegoat.

In the last 12 months, lord dsainsbury has given burnham 160K, personally. It was claimed that was for his leadership election.
There was no leadership election. Burnham still has the money in his own bank account though.

Some did, in fact, urge Parton to turn to politics, but she declined. She once told the BBC’s Washington correspondent Gavin Esler: “Honey, there have been enough boobs in the White House without mine.”https://www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar ... -kvsz8dc52

Nice visit from (post-hospital) pension person, offering goodies such as a little € help with garden, a few hundred pa contribution for meals on wheels, even a handle for levering self out of the bath !

It's COMMUNISM :-)

Actually she came from a non-profit subcontracting the work from the state pension service -- "We're cheaper than civil servants" ....

Many years ago I remember the surprise of Brit migrants to France being bowled over by their first contact with social services here , they were told what was on offer to help them .
