Did anyone else watch Horizon?
A very good explanation of why the NHS needs more money than it did 30 years ago - because it can do more.
Nearly as astonishing as the episode of Hospital where a very elderly man went in for scheduled heart surgery, had a stroke in recovery, they wheeled him off to another theatre where they fished the blood clot out of his brain and two days later he walked out under his own steam.
