NHS England to be abolished and brought back into the DHSC.

Good. Never could see the logic of having it as an ALB in the same way as the British Museum, the BFI, National Gallery, Debt Management Office etc.

We're ruled by the stupidest people imaginable. And the most gullible.

Of course not all the people with Long Covid cannot work and the effects are very variable . One friend off work completely, one daughter working 60% , but it's very tiring!

The symptom of 'brain fog' is a polite way of diminishing the fact that covid causes brain damage, FFS !

Look at all those people lazing around. Force them into work ASAP.

I see that dimwitted Tories are posting a list of quangos (sic) that labour have apparently created since last July.

One of them is the House of Commons Modernisation Committee.

How stupid do you have to be to not realise that the title might give it away that it's not actually a quango?

After football then setting up a new telly (which you're on now because as I also use my TV as a monitor) I only had time to skim through QT, which is a relief because it looked pretty dull and they ended up talking about potholes.

I only paid full attention to the question about disability benefit cuts and Labour's Emma Reynolds was in full bullshit mode and in no mood for compromise, which given she's a treasury minister doesn't bode well for next week. Even Konstantin Kisin sounded more reasonable. She kept banging on about getting people back into work despite the fact PIP isn't an out of work benefit and half the people they're targetting have severe disabilities that would stop them ever working even if they wanted to. The scariest thing was she was spouting this bollocks with an arrogant smirk and a messianic gleam in here eyes like she really believes it. I was hoping Faiza Shaheen might take her to task, and to be fair she did try and was the only panel member to receive applause during the discussion, but dear god she doesn't half waffle.

Kisin was decent on Ukraine, but then reverted to type and began blathering about the bloated state and how austerity never happened.

Wendy Chamberlain was also decent on Ukraine and pushed back against the benefits cuts, but fairly weakly.

Luke Evans just seemed to be happy to be there, grinning like an imbecile, before the mask slipped and he got all grumpy at the thought of taxing rich people.

Sociedad are a poor side who ended up down to ten men and our strikers all failed to score again. Happy with the win but let's not get carried away.

Any thoughts on the proposed new stadium that looked to me like a cross between a dead jellyfish and a circus tent?
